Katlin is a registered nurse with extensive experience in both inpatient hospital care and school‑based health services, including six years as a school nurse with Warren City Schools. She is completing her Master of Science in Nursing at Kent State University and will graduate as a Nurse Practitioner in May 2026. In her role with the conservancy, Katlin will work closely with the Health and Safety Officer to review, develop, and refine health and safety protocols for programs and field activities. She will help assess risk, ensure that procedures are appropriate for youth and adult participants, and incorporate best practices related to first aid, emergency response, environmental health, and accessibility. By integrating her clinical expertise and school‑based experience, Katlin supports the creation of safe, welcoming learning environments that promote both physical and mental well‑being across all conservancy initiatives.
